Labels:text | screenshot | font | black and white | document OCR: Going From "A" to "B" With "Easy" Mode Turned Off The basic problem of flying a " real" spaceship, in a zero-gravity environment (such as interstellar space) is that when you turn the spaceship, it keeps going in the same direction it was going before you turned - so, you can't get to an object just by steering towards it. Here is the method I use to reach the desired target: 1 Start at zero velocity (hit th e "Stop" button if you have to, but technically, that's c heating) and point the spaceship towards the target. 2 Hit the "Forward" button to st art going towards the target. As you approach it, slow down gradually, and stop (as much as possible) before you fly past it. 3 Turn the spaceship so it is fa cing the target again. 4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you get however close to the targ ...
